Baby got back

That song is always stuck in my head.  I actually walk around the house singing it!

But anyway, I finished up the 2 Pretty in Pink baby quilts last week.  Getting a good picture has been bit of an issue.  It has been so incredibly hot and sunny and I find that I get better pictures on days where its a bit overcast.  These pictures were in taken in full shade and I've had a difficult time lightening them up.

Both of these quilts are very small - about 32" square.  I had a jelly roll of Kona White that I paired with pinks that I pulled out of the bin.  The pieces in this one are 2x4" {finished}.

And this one was a bunch of slice and dice.  2" squares and quilting through the white blocks only.

I wish my fake adirondack chairs were pink too!

I had this cute pink and green cheerio fabric.  I used a pink gingham as the binding for both quilts.  These quilts are the first finishes I've had in a looooong time.  It feels so good to be back!
