I did something

It took me a long time and a lot of work but I did it.  Yep - it.  I wrote a quilt pattern.  I've spent a better part of the last few weeks working on it.  I've had to learn new software (vector drawing anyone?) and made a quilt faster than I ever have before.  But I did it.

Introducing:  Flock of Geese
Prints are Flock by Thomas Knauer and the background is Kona Snow by Robert Kaufmann.

I first drew up the pattern about 5 months ago.  It took a long time to step out of my comfort zone and start writing the pattern.  But I love how the small geese are flying behind their mama and papa geese.  Their cousins are right next to them.  The whole family is together - close knit and protective.

The pattern is for sale over on Craftsy - here's the link if you wanna go check it out.

I want to say thank you to the following people for their help, kindness and generosity (in no particular order):  Pete, Julie, Thomas, Andrew, Anna and Tricia.
