Well? How did you do on your Cathedral Windows challenge?
I'm still working on mine. I was going to make this for my For the Love of Solids 2 partner but some of the intersections are a bit odd. I wouldnt feel comfortable sending this out to someone as part of a swap.
I definitely learned that pressing the fabric perfectly is key to having excellent intersections. I'll finish this up as a pillow for myself.
Did you try to make a Cathedral Windows item? Link up below to show us!
I had fun with some cathedral windows, but haven't finished yet. It's on my to do list this week, so we'll see if I get to it! Like you though, I found the completely accurate pressing was the key, the sewing was a doddle!
ReplyDeleteMine wasn't perfect, either, but i had a great experience with them. I probably won't do more than a pillow, though.
ReplyDeleteI haven't got very far with mine but am hoping to make my project up this weekend.
